How to Clean a Mouse Pad Without Ruining It

    What you'll need

    • Lukewarm water
    • A drop of mild dish soap (no bleach, no fabric softener)
    • Soft brush or microfiber cloth
    • A flat surface to dry

    The routine

    1. Lay the mat flat in a clean sink or bathtub
    2. Wet the surface with lukewarm water — do not soak the rubber base
    3. Add a single drop of dish soap and work it into a light foam with the brush
    4. Brush in circles along the printed surface — never scrub aggressively
    5. Rinse until the water runs clear
    6. Press out water with a dry towel (don't wring or fold)
    7. Lay flat to air dry for 12–24 hours

    What NOT to do

    • Don't machine wash — agitator damages the stitched edge and base bond
    • Don't put it in the dryer — heat warps the rubber
    • Don't use bleach or alcohol — degrades print over time
    • Don't roll it up wet — traps moisture and grows mildew

    How often

Light surface wipe weekly. Full wash every 2–3 months for daily-use mats. A sublimated print like ours will not fade from washing.
